Went to my cousin Marks wedding. Asked him if he minded me taking a few photos. Ended up taking about 500. Have put my favourite 25 on flickr. They have been edited in Lightroom with various free presets.

I did not want to get in the way of the professional photographer so unfortunately shoots of the bride and groom they are looking at him and not me. Still think I managed to get some good shots.

The cake was made by my aunty and decorated with real flowers. Had few getting shots of the cake cutting

Had a day planned at Lincoln show ground planned to watch balloon festival. To windy for pilots to take off. So changed plans and went to Lincoln Cathedral and got some photos of the outside. Processed with photomatix HDR software and uploaded with lightroom to Flickr

First saw the weekend millionaires at Adelphi Club in Hull. Had gone to take picture of my wife's cousins band The Cliques. Really enjoyed the WM so much have been looking out for them playing agian. They played last night at Lamp in hull. 3 Other bands also played:

Read this tutorial (http://digital-photography-school.com/creating-a-triptych-in-lightroom) about using lightroom print module to make a triptych, 3 part picture. This is of some of the owls that I took when I went to RAF Waddington. Now I have this set up as a template I am going to use this to make some flyers for my photography business.

Went to RAF Waddington on 5th July. Have wanted to go for the last few years. Last airshow I went to was at RAF Finningley this is now robin hood airport.

Some of the best flying was carried out by the Red Arrows Display team.

The commentator summed up the display by saying "the best of British"

Took over 1400 photos. Got a sunburnt nose. But what a cool day.

Steam and Vintage car rally held at Little Weighton, East Yorkshire. June 2009.

Some very nice classic and vintage car where also there. Day was very over cast so not a pleasant light to shoot in. Got there early to avoid crowds so missed some of the exhibitors.

Edited ligthroom using preset filters. Used center stage preset then punch and contrast.

I have been using photoshop recently to try and add a more vintage feel to the shots I have been doing. Did a search for vintage filters and presets the one I did like was this one:

Seems to work better with still life and plants than portraits. Have had a play with the layer opacity to adjust the effect.
